"Do you think you are important? To your friends and your loved ones? "
"Of course!"
"Think again."
"...well at least I was, wasn't I?"
"You were. But, are you?"
"...perhaps?"
"So what if you are? Will you still be?"
"...this you'll never know, will you?"
"If they need you, then you will."

Reality check #1:
You feel important because someone needs you.

Reality check #2:
Few truly cares for you. (Note: the converse is true, i.e. you truly care for a few.)

Yes Jiahao is emo-ing again.
Yes I feel unimportant, insecure, powerless.
Acquaintances I have, true friends? A few. Perhaps countable with one hand.

You complained that I'd never understand.
Yes I wouldn't, but could you?

I am but an ordinary human being.
And so I demand for same treatment!
"Do unto others what you want them to", my mum's words.
But here I question her, "Do you always reap what you sow?"
The fact? You don't.

It hurts to see the one you care for unhappy; even more if he/she refused to let you care.
